Grounds Management Association

The Grounds Management Association is the professional body in the grounds care industry. As a not-for-profit membership organisation our aim is to promote, support and celebrate groundsmanship and its people – from a volunteer at a local sports club to a grounds professional at an international sporting venue.The GMA offers networking opportunities, personal development and training to ensure the career progression of people that work in the industry and promotes the profession to ensure that it is recognised by those that benefit from a grounds person’s hard work.The GMA delivers a range of local, regional and national events, with leading sport turf representatives. This includes the UK’s leading industry indoor exhibition – SALTEX, a two-day show located at the NEC Birmingham, which annually attracts around 9,000 visitors.
